Career Highlights
Severin’s academic background forms the backbone of his technological expertise. He is currently enrolled in the Master’s Program in Artificial Intelligence at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. Combined with applied research and software engineering at the Software Competence Center Hagenberg (SCCH), this experience enables him to design and develop AI-intensive applications at the highest level. His scientific work has led to the publication of several research papers presented at international workshops and conferences. This strong academic foundation, paired with a deep enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, ultimately led him to co-found Majourny. Together with Fabian, Severin is driving the digital transformation of the hospitality industry—while always keeping the human experience at the center. His career path lays the groundwork for empowering travelers with the limitless potential of tomorrow’s technologies.
The Motto
I have always loved traveling. Experiencing distant cultures firsthand allows me to see the world through different eyes and appreciate the small details in life. When Fabian approached me, I immediately felt the desire to create meaningful change. While focusing on traveling and exploring the world, there is often a subtle fear of overlooking something important or making the wrong decision. But it doesn’t have to be that way. To remove the barriers of travel planning, we must make it simpler and more intuitive. We realized that delivering the right information at the right time is far from trivial. That is why we develop Majourny for hotels—to free guests from spending countless hours planning their stay and instead allow them to focus on what truly matters: the experience.
